Responsibilities

Essential Duties

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, tablets, monitors, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform security camera installations, including mounting, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Run conduit and Ethernet cabling as needed (experience preferred).
  • Configure and manage basic networking tasks, including router setup, subnet management, and network equipment identification.
  • Utilize a ticketing system to prioritize and resolve IT requests efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized and detail-oriented approach to IT asset management and documentation.
  • Work with the IT Director on larger-scale projects and initiatives.
  • Occasionally work on ladders to install or troubleshoot equipment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with IT security protocols, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
