We are looking for a reliable IT Specialist who will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, problem solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure the smooth operation of our organization’s IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Software troubleshooting
  • Set up computers, tablets, monitors, etc
  • Security camera experience preferred
  • Running conduit and Ethernet cable experience preferred
  • Mounting security cameras
  • Troubleshooting security cameras
  • Might require being on ladders at times
  • Basic networking (setting up and making changes to routers, understanding of what a subnet is, identifying network equipment)
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks with little or no supervision. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a ticketing system 
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Work with IT Director on bigger projects

 

This position will serve as the IT Specialist for all Milwaukee area locations. Travel to all locations will be required.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, with excellent problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and protocols, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detections systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
